Frequently Asked Questions

1. Where are left over exams?
 Answer:  EESAT 320G.

2. I missed an exam. What do I do?
 Answer:  Go to “Missed Exam Makeup Request Form”.
   Down load a copy and fill it out.
   Return completed for to Instructor.

3. What about extra credit?
 Answer: The Department of Geography does not permit extra credit.

4. Do I supply my own scantron?
 Answer: Scantron forms will be provided for each exam.

5. Will corrections be made for missed questions or improper erasure marks.
Answer:  No corrections will be made for improper erasure marks or for omissions. The only corrections will be for instructor error.

6. Will there be a field trip this semester?
Answer: We normally have a field trip. The trips are limited to the first 45 students signed and fee paid. Go to “Field Trips” on the web site and information will be provided for trip(s) being offered this semester.

7. What is class attendance policy?
Answer: See the syllabus for the current semesters policy. Attendance is encouraged and an attendance sheet is circulated each class session. It is the student’s responsibility to sign the attendance sheet each class session. Attendance is counted towards class participation.

8. What type/kind of exams are administered?
Answer: Exams are generally multiple choice and True/False. There are between 45 and 65 questions per each test. Occasionally Fill in the blank questions will be asked.

9. Add/Drop policy?
 Answer: See your schedule of classes for the current University policy.

10. All labs meet the first week of school. 

11. A Laboratory Manual is needed.

12. Do not buy a used laboratory manual.

You do need a course textbook.
